I was 16 years old when my older brother took me to see an international band in concert.
At the time, I was studying in an arts program, and we had already heard about U2. As an exercise, I made a successful pencil drawing of the Boy album cover, which is still hanging in my older brother’s office today.
First impressions always stay with you, and since then I have enjoyed many U2 concerts. Now my brother would like to experience U2 once again in Ireland. We'll see if we can make that happen.

exhilarating
actually, it was a friend of mine who purswayded me going to the concert.
I knew and liked 'I will follow', but was not convinced yet.
the support act was a disaster, with use of a tape that broke down, so I was not in the mood.
when U2 can on stage, the crowd went crazy even before the band had played one note.
that made me even more sceptical. Those 4 guys needed to convince me.... and they did. It took them exactly 2 songs. What a concert. and I became a U2 fan. Got the albums Boy, October and War, and played them over and over again.....
Now, after 28years, I still remember that remarcable evening in that world-renowned place :-)
I hope one day U2 will do a new tour in those small, intimite halls...
