This song has a special meaning for Bono and also for me. My mum is also called Iris and like Bono's mum she also suffered a brain haemorrhage. Luckily for us she survived it but she is now terminally ill with another illness. When I read the song name I had a lump in my throat and couldn't wait to hear it. Just happens to be my favourite song on the album as well.
Bono writing for The Atlantic on why the key to prisoner Marwan Barghouti's cell could unlock more than his door - an Irish take on possibilities for an Israeli Palestinian peace.
